Jamie Foxx Expresses His Gratitude Over Chris Brown’s Special Visit For Sister With Down’s Syndrome

Jamie Foxx sister, DeOndra Dixon has Down's syndrome. But Jamie Foxx isn't shy about it. The "Django Unchained" actor Jamie Foxx in fact has been proud about her sister all the time.

In "The Queen Latifah Show" on Monday, the award winning actor shared how grateful he is for one man named Chris Brown, who showed up to pay a special visit to her sister DeOndra. Her sister has a huge crush with the 25-year-old R&B star and Chris Brown showed up with no excuses or delays just to visit DeOndra.

DeOndra Dixon, Jamie Foxx sister was very active inspite of her condition. Jamie Foxx, who took her sister after high school graduation to live with him in L.A., just loves her sister so much. Jamie Foxx takes each day a special day to share his blessings with DeOndra.

"My sister has been able to be in my world and meet all these people, but I want to give a special shout out to somebody - there's a young man by the name of Chris Brown who always gets a lot of crazy things said (about him) he does a few things here and there that we might take out of context," the Golden Globe award-winning actor said.

Jamie Foxx sister, DeOndra Dixon is an extraordinary girl. She has been participating in the music videos of her big brother Jamie. She already appeared in the "Blame It" music video of Foxx, and also did a dancing stint in front of 26 million viewers at the 52nd Annual Grammy Awards.

Since 2011, Jamie Foxx sister, DeOndra assumed a greater responsibility of being the Ambassador for the Global Down Syndrome Foundation. On Oct.21, Jamie Foxx tweeted that her sister DeOndra will be joining actor Alec Baldwin on stage for a modeling stint sponsored by the Global Down Syndrome Foundation.

Jamie Foxx sister, DeOndra is a gifted dancer. The award-winning actor said that even his friends Denzel Washington and Chris Brown can't challenge her when it comes to dancing and would just watch her on the dance floor.

DeOndra is Jamie Foxx half-sister. She was born when Foxx was just 16 and from then on he said he loves her more than anything and he didn't think that she has Down's syndrome. Like Foxx, Jamie Foxx sister is also a joker.

When Jamie sees her getting food from the fridge, she will just say "J, you know I got Down syndrome ... it just happens."

Jamie Foxx sister's condition known as Down's syndrome affects one in every 691 babies in the United States. It is the most widespread genetic condition with roughly 6,000 babies born with Down's syndrome in the United States every year. There is about 400,000 Americans who have Down syndrome.
