Kelly Clarkson hit the stage at the American Country Countdown Awards (the ACC Awards) to honor her stepmother-in-law, Reba McEntire who received a Nash Icon Award on Monday. Kelly Clarkson graced the stage at Music City Center with Miranda Lambert as they performed song numbers for McEntire.
Kelly Clarkson was gleaming that night in her performance while she flaunts her post-baby body while wearing a lacy Black dress. Kelly Clarkson and Lambert rendered McEntire hit songs "Take It Back" and "How Blue" while Kelly Clarkson and McEntire did a dashing duet with "Fancy," Gossip Cop reports.
The lively performance of Kelly Clarkson, Miranda Lambert and Reba McEntire happened before "American Country Countdown," host Kix Brooks, presented McEntire with the first ever Icon Award to honor her lifetime of contributions to country music.
The American Country Countdown event seemed a family affair for Kelly Clarkson, three-time Grammy winner with McEntire, who is also Kelly Clarkson's step mother-in-law. The two singers formed a strong bond even before Kelly Clarkson married McEntire's stepson, Brandon Blackstock.
McEntire joined together in series of performances including the 2 Worlds 2 Voices Tour in 2008. Kelly Clarkson also filmed "CMT Crosswords" and had duet with Mc Entire with her successful song "Because of You." The original American Idol champ also appeared in Reba's CW sitcom in 2007, according to Daily Mail.
Blackstock, husband of Kelly Clarkson is also her manager and Blake Shelton, the husband of Miranda Lambert. Before Blackstock, becomes her manager, Narvel Blackstock, father of Brandon was Kelly Clarkson's manager.
Kelly Clarkson is married to Brandon Blackstock for over a year. The two live at their classy $2.8 million mansion together with Blackstock's children from preceding marriage, Seth, 7, and Savannah, 13.
Kelly Clarkson will be performing next at Nas on Dec. 20, her first ever yearly Christmas classics concert that would benefit The Fruition Fund of The Community Foundation of Middle Tennessee.
