Hanukkah Began And J.K. Rowling Confirmed There Were Jews In Hogwarts Through Twitter

Hanukkah, J.K. Rowling - Hannukah began on Dec. 16. What else happened that day? An epic tweet from J.K. Rowling called the attention of every "Harry Potter" fan.

The issue took place as Benjamin Roffman wanted to clear a family dispute and in order to do so, went straight to the source.

"My wife said there are no Jews in Hogwarts. I'm a Jew so I assume she said it to be the only magical 1 in the family. Thoughts?" the Harry Potter fanatic asked to the author of the acclaimed saga through Twitter.

J.K. Rowling did not only answer to Roffman but did so in such a way that reminded why everyone truly loves her and the entire world of Harry Potter.

"@benjaminroffman Anthony Goldstein, Revenclaw, Jewish wizard," she answered through the social media account and then took it further by clearing out even more on the matter.

"To everyone asking whether their religion/belief/non-belief system is represented at Hogwarts: the only people I never imagined there are Wiccans."

So, yes, pretty much a lot of people have their footprint in Hogwarts. She did give the answer during the first evening of Hanukkah and to a lot of people that might just have been the best present to start off the holiday.

Other big news that J.K. Rowling gave not only for Hanukkah but for Christmas, too in a different shape is the fact that she will be releasing 12 brief new stories, according to E! Online.

Actually, on Friday, Dec. 12, there was an important release which was part of Severus Snape's past. In the series of Harry Potter, he is the professor who gives Harry a hard time.

Also, it's been stated that he had a crush on Harry's mother, Lily. In the story, apparently Snape and Lily grew up close to one another.

J.K. Rowling certainly has cards up her sleeve every time and neither Hanukkah nor Christmas will take her up with surprise.
