Larry Wilmore Minority Report by Comedy Central has been renamed to "The Nightly Show with Larry Wilmore." The newest offering of Comedy Central for 2015 will be hosted by Emmy-winning comedy veteran Larry Wilmore and will be premiered on Jan. 19.

After the Larry Wilmore Minority Report, "The Nightly Show with Larry Wilmore" will give you good reasons why it's different from the usual late night news television shows.

Larry Wilmore new show will be a divert form of late night show as it brings new formula of approaching news and current events in a comedic way and yet, people will learn and get views of trending topics straight from the people itself, the "underdogs."

"The Nightly Show with Larry Wilmore" formerly known as Larry Wilmore Minority Report will give a different twist on the usual expectations of people who think Minority Report is just about the Blacks.

The show's prime purpose is to bring conversation in. It will be in the form of "Daily Show" but it will bring interesting topics to discuss as the production invites group of guests for panel discussion, Robin Thede, head writer of the "The Nightly Show with Larry Wilmore" f.k.a. Larry Wilmore Minority Report.

"The Nightly Show with Larry Wilmore" f.k.a. Larry Wilmore Minority Report will be offering new concepts and debatable topics of season that could include Ferguson or Bill Cosby.

The show will also bring more conversations into the social media where people can react and air their comments on the hottest issues that will be discussed on the show.

When Thede was asked what kind of voices will the former Larry Wilmore Minority Report show will be bringing in, she stated that this time the show will feature the "real people."

Thede said, for instance, if the former Larry Wilmore Minority Report show will be talking about Ferguson, they will bring the Ferguson protesters or the Ferguson residents and not the police officers to discuss.

It seems that the show sounds interesting. So what's the similarities and difference of the show to "The Colbert Report," which will be replaced by "The Nightly Show with Larry Wilmore" in January?

The former Larry Wilmore Minority Report show and now "The Nightly Show with Larry Wilmore" is a news parody in the likes of Colbert, but it offers a new idea by offering laughter and truth in one platform.

Larry Wilmore Minority Report was the first title of the show before it was changed to "The Nightly Show with Larry Wilmore." The team thinks that the new title will be more appropriate for its format instead of minority that was formerly thought to focus on the Black people only.

Another reason was that the team of the show doesn't want to face probable intellectual property disagreements.

Larry Wilmore Minority Report, "The Nightly Show with Larry Wilmore" is Comedy Central's offering after its predecessor Stephen Colbert, host of "The Colbert Report" was announced to transfer to CBS to replace David Letterman when he leaves next year according to Indie Wire.

Larry Wilmore was declared to replace Colbert in Comedy Central early in May when the first title of the show was Larry Wilmore Minority Report.

The former Larry Wilmore Minority Report was conceptualized and co-produced by Jon Stewart and Wilmore. It will be a 30-minute show and will be shown every night.

Larry Wilmore, 52, of "Larry Wilmore Minority Report" and now, "The Nightly Show with Larry Wilmore" is veteran who made his debut in "The Daily Show" in 2006 as the "Senior Black Correspondent."

Wilmore is a recipient of Emmy Award who has displayed his works including The Fresh Prince of Bel Air, Living Color, The Office and others. He is also one of the creators of The Bernie Mac Show. Wilmore had also written for comedy hit "Black-ish" in ABC.

The former "Larry Wilmore Minority Report" and now "The Nightly Show With Larry Wilmore" is slated to premiere on January 19, 2015 11:30 p.m. on Comedy Central after "Daily Show."
