Instagram Releases Five New Filters After Two Years

After two long years, Instagram has finally released their newest filter update. Instagram surprises its massive 300 million users by releasing not only one but five new filters. This new update will definitely put a big smile on a lot of users of the photo-sharing website.

The level of photography has certainly evolved to a much higher level in the past few years. With the help of the internet and the unprecedented breakthrough in the smartphone and tablet industry along with the worlds changing medium of sharing has reshaped the way people think about socializing. The outlet of sharing every last bit of information nowadays is virtually limitless.

Instagram's five newly released filters are the following; Slumber, Crema, Ludwig, Aden and Perpetua, all were positively received by Instagram's massive 300 million users.

The new filter offers its users the following editing powers to their photos:
Slumber desaturate and adds haze to a photo. It creates a filter that makes the photo look like a retro-dreamy experience by putting precise emphasis on the colors black and blue.
Crema creates a creamy appearance to a photo, a filter that gives both cool and warm visage to the picture.
Ludwig filters the photo by giving it a very minimalist look with a little hint of desaturation and puts more emphasis on the light.
Aden is the perfect filter for portraits. This filter gives the photo a very pastel look.

Aside from the five new filters, Instagram also gave its app a slight revamp. Among the many added features is the ability to rearrange the filters based on the user's choice. User's now have the ability to put their most frequently used filter in the front tray and hide other filters that they rarely use.

Instagram, in recent online surveys, has already overtaken Twitter as the second most popular social network with over 300 million active users.
