Madonna fans will definitely have a wonderful Christmas as the artists' newest six tract album dubbed the "Christmas gift" hit the top shot on iTunes just mere hours after it was released. The album was released in more than 36 countries and has since never showed signs of slowing down.
The early release of Madonna's songs was a retaliatory to attack that leaked unfinished material for her upcoming album Rebel Heart. The demo's hit various internet websites and offered downloads months before the intended release of Madonna's album.
Madonna's new song, "B---, I'm Madonna," features hip-shop artist Nicki Minaj. It was released for online download last Saturday and has already topped the download charts in just a couple of hours after it was released.
On an official statement released through Madonna's spokeswoman, it was said that the new songs held six of the ten slots in Top 10 iTunes chart. The latest single "Living for Love" is currently holding the number one spot in more than 20 countries.
