Katniss Everdeen Costume? Why Not Get The Entire Figure? Madame Tussauds Immortalized Heroine In Wax

Katniss Everdeen - The main character from "The Hunger Games" is not just well-known but now she has been immortalized as part of Madame Tussauds' Wax Museum.

Katniss is not only in one of the branches from Madame Tussauds, but in New York, Hollywood and London. In each one of them, she is in a different scenario.

On Madame Tussauds' Twitter, there were pictures posted of the London Katniss Everdeen. There, she is wearing the clothes she had while hunting in the beginning of "Catching Fire."

Also, the wax museum revealed that each figure took four months to create and cost around £150,000. To this fact, the fans answered that "their girl on fire was worth every pound."

Each figure looks exactly like Jennifer Lawrence and in order to create these figures, Madame Tussauds got the cooperation from Lionsgate, the producer from all "The Hunger Games" franchise movies.

In Hollywood, the Katniss Everdeen wax figure is wearing the same hunting gear from "Catching Fire" as she appears in London.

In New York, the figure has the arena outfit that Katniss is wearing on the first installment of "The Hunger Games." She is also put in an "immersive" setting, which is meant to "immerse" the person in the picture in the same dystopian universe, EW noted.

"Introducing #District12's very own, Katniss Everdeen!" is the message posted with the picture of the wax figure in the museum's Twitter.

A fun fact is that some fans have already been taking pictures with Katniss and they make the three-fingered sign, which appears repeatedly in the franchise, not only to signal respect and goodbye to the deceased, but also a sign of rebellion.

In the movies, it's a rebellion towards the way of life that still applies to the dystopian universe, even if the "games" ended. The "hunger" never ended, and that's why the characters keep on fighting and Katniss Everdeen is taken as the heroine.
