Woody Allen 2015: ‘Girls’ Star Lena Dunham Calls ‘Manhattan’ Director ‘Perv’ [VIDEO]

Following last year's allegations that saw the "Midnight in Paris" director in the middle of controversy when his adopted daughter with Mia Farrow accused him of molesting her, Woody Allen's 2015 sees the rebirth of the same nightmare after the famous star and creator of the HBO show "Girls," Lena Dunham, accuses the director of being a "perv."

After the 2014 Golden Globes ceremony last year, Allen's former partner Mia Farrow and their son Ronan Farrow accused the director, writer and actor of having molested Dylan Farrow when she was a young girl - now, following a huge scandal that saw both parts come out to speak, Woody Allen's 2015 starts with the renewed flame of last year's scandal.

According to The Independent, Dunham's Woody Allen 2015 comments come as she's surrounded with controversy herself, after last summer she published a collection of autobiographical essays, where one of them said she'd removed pebbles in her little sister's vagina when she was 7 and her sister was 1, for which she's been widely accused of child molestation herself.

As Jezebel reported, her Woody Allen 2015 comments came out during the Sundance Film Festival, as the actress, director and writer was in the middle of a panel called "Power of Story: Serious Ladies" in the famous independent festival. She discussed topics like campus sexual assault, reproductive rights and how women in the media were constantly compared with the characters they play in television or film.

"Woody Allen is proof that people don't think everything he says in his films is stuff that he does because all he was doing was making out with 17-year olds for years and we didn't say anything about it," said Dunham, according to Deadline. "No one thought that Woody Allen is making out with a 17-year old in 'Manhattan' and, said, I guess he's a real perv. And then lo and behold..."

Ever since Allen married Mia Farrow's adopted daughter, Soon-Yi Previn, in the early 90s, the director has drawn comparisons to 70s film "Manhattan," where he dated an underage girl.

It's unclear whether the iconic director will reply to the new Woody Allen 2015 comments.
