In the report published by CNN, the 23-year-old Ukrainian model told CNN that she was out with Nemtsov for dinner on Friday night when the shooting incident happened.

She relayed that she wanted to go back home and see her mother.
However, she was guarded and the authorities do not allow her to go anywhere without them. In her detailed statement she made it clear that she has no clue why the investigative team was keeping her in the location. But the Russian Investigative Committee assured her that it was for her safety.
Although Anna Duritskaya witness the shooting, she told to Dozhd TV that she didn't see the gunman as the shooting happened so fast. She didn't recognize the plate number or the brand of the car. All she saw was a light-colored car driving away from them.
In an interview with Daily Mail, Anna Duritskaya, witness' mother Inna Duritskaya told that the investigative team once called her to reassure her that they're keeping Anna as the main witness and not as suspect so she should not worry.
