Portia De Rossi And Ellen DeGeneres Speak Out About Dolce & Gabbana Scandal, Join Elton John Boycott

A lot has been said about the recent comments made by Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana, the two men in front of the major Italian luxury clothes brand, as they stated publicly that they didn't agree with gay adoption nor IVF, calling the children born this way "synthetic" - and now another gay power couple, Portia De Rossi and Ellen DeGeneres, has spoken out about the controversy.

A couple of weeks ago, Food World News reported how people like Elton John, Ricky Martin, Victoria Beckham and Martina Navratilova had spoken out against Dolce & Gabbana's views on gay parenting, and now it's the turn for Portia De Rossi and Ellen DeGeneres, a couple that has famously stated they don't intend to have children of their own.

According to Perez Hilton, the latest Portia De Rossi and Ellen DeGeneres on the subject happened during the 2015 GLAAD (Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation) Media Awards over the past weekend, as many attendants were asked for their opinion on the controversial remarks.

As E! Online reports, Portia De Rossi and Ellen DeGeneres are only the two latest people to join the campaign against Dolce & Gabbana for their words, as the whole thing is led by Elton John, who has two sons with his husband David Furnish, both of whom were born from a surrogate mother.

According to Pop Crush, Portia De Rossi and Ellen DeGeneres joined in the boycott against the brand, saying their comments had been "ignorant" and that they didn't understand where they were coming from with their comments, saying that they wouldn't "weir their clothes ever, ever again."

It's a stark contrast to that of "Guardians of the Galaxy" actress Zoe Saldana, also present at the event, who stated she'd continue to sport Dolce & Gabbana attire, as she thought it was "stupid" to let the controversy affect her fashion choices.

In any case, a great time for Portia De Rossi and Ellen DeGeneres!
