Jennifer Lawrence Peanuts: ‘Hunger Games’ Star Immortalized In Jennifer Lawrence Portrait … Made Out Of Peanuts! [PHOTO]

The young Oscar-winning star is usually at the top of headlines as news outlets around the world follow her life closely, though she has refused to speak to the media about her different relationships - but now, Mystique herself is being immortalized with a Jennifer Lawrence peanuts portrait!

Oddly enough, the Jennifer Lawrence peanuts portrait is actually not the first food sculpture based on the young actress' likeness, as a few months back Food World News reported that someone had created a cake to her likeness, particularly while dressed up as Katniss Everdeen, her character in the "Hunger Games" movie series.

Now, according to The Inquisitr, the Jennifer Lawrence peanuts portrait wants to take the title for the oddest piece of art based on the 24 year-old's likeness, after Orlando-based artist Mateo Blanco created this singular portrait, certainly unlike anything the world has seen.

It was Ripley's Believe It Or Not! Museum in the Florida city that commissioned Blanco with the Jennifer Lawrence peanuts portrait - though they didn't tell him to use that particular material, so he just decided to go literally nuts with the whole thing!

In fact, as Orlando Sentinel reports, Ripley's just asked Blanco to create a piece of art depicting a Kentuckian in a medium that had to be baseball-related - so he decided on using nuts for his Jennifer Lawrence peanuts piece, the tenth one he makes for Ripley's.

The portrait is headed to the Louisville Slugger Museum's baseball-themed exhibit by Ripley's, starting next February.

The Huffington Post reports that the Jennifer Lawrence peanuts portrait's measures are 78 inches tall with 55 inches wide, using almost 10,000 shelled pictures to create the effect - and the task actually cost Blanco about 400 hours of his life, including gluing the each of the shells to a wooden board, one by one.
