Human Meat Restaurant: Did Nigerian Restaurant REALLY Serve Human Meat Or Just Hoax?

While the idea of the existence of a human meat restaurant where patrons are served fellow people seems right out of science fiction (particularly from "Soylent Green"), last year the report that someone discovered a human finger at a restaurant in the McDonald's Japanese franchise puts things in perspective, and it may be the case.

Months back, Food World News reported on a couple of gruesome crimes that ended up including cannibalistic experiences, as one man from Wales picked up a woman in the area and took her to a hotel, where he almost ate the entirety of her eyeballs; and another man had cooked his longtime girlfriend - but the human meat restaurant news sounds even more horrifying.

According to The Telegraph, news about the human meat restaurant came out last weekend, when it was first reported that policemen in Nigeria had raided a local restaurant after rumors came out in the area of human meat being served - and, upon entering, they found a truly horrific scene.

The discovery behind the human meat restaurant surfaced as policemen allegedly found bags containing human heads, still dripping blood into plastic bags, in the kitchen of the restaurant, aside from automatic weapons and even grenades; afterwards, ten people were arrested and the venue was understandably shut down.

"I'm not surprised at the shocking revelation... every time I went to the market, I observed strange activities going on in the hotel," said a resident, according to The Daily Mail. "People who were never cleanly dressed and who looked a bit strange made their way in and out of the hotel, making me very suspicious."

In an edit of their original story, Eater reports that the human meat restaurant news was actually about one year older than had been previously said, adding that it came from "a disputed source."

Indeed, Nigerian police gave a statement to 360 Nobs saying that the human meat restaurant was untrue and downright "embarrassing."
