Krispy Kreme Doughnut: British Woman Eating Donut Bites Latex GLOVE! [PHOTO]

Over the years, Krispy Kreme doughnuts have turned into a go-to breakfast item all over the world, but it seems like one woman in the United Kingdom literally bit more than she could chew when she was having the sweet treat, as a food safety scandal broke out in the company.

Ria Findlay, a pregnant woman living in London, decided to have one of Krispy Kreme's doughnuts for a meal, trying out the ones without any holes for the first time to see what it was like, but she got a fairly unpleasant surprise: instead of delicious filling, she found a blue rubber glove inside her treat.

According to The Mirror, Findlay bought the Krispy Kreme doughnut with the glove in a local Tesco, and she was excited to see what exactly was it she was consuming, first seeing filling flavors such as caramel and cream, then wondering what was the "blue stuff."

ITV reports that Findlay, who is 33 and expecting a child, had already taken three bites out of the Krispy Kreme doughnut when she realized that the "blue stuff" was in fact a latex glove, right after buying the sweet treat for a colleague.

In Findlay's office, it was a custom to buy Krispy Kreme doughnuts to those celebrating a birthday during the day, but after this terrible experience there's little chance they'll be doing it again, as the future mom has vowed off donuts for the rest of her life.

According to Evening Standard, Findlay and her colleagues quickly contacted both Tesco and Krispy Kreme to complain about the massive mistake: Tesco quickly asked for the doughnuts back and sent her 5 boxes of the product, while Krispy Kreme took a little longer but ultimately sent out five more boxes, which she has been handing out to others after saying she won't be trying the dessert again.

Spokespeople from Krispy Kreme doughnuts have said they're looking into the matter.
