Selena Gomez Confused By Justin Bieber’s Messages About Her In New Video [PHOTOS + VIDEO]

Justin Bieber seems to confirm that his relationship with Selena Gomez is over, but then at another point, he seems to be calling out to his ex while singing, “I need you the most."

Selena is confused of what the Biebs wants from her after seeing her name on his new music video.

“Selena has seen the video and is trying not to read too much into what she saw. She’s actually not really sure what to think," an insider tells HollywoodLife exclusively.

"Of course, she can’t help but wonder if Justin was in fact trying to send her a message that he misses her.”

From the moment Justin Bieber's comeback single with Skrillex and Diplo, 'Where R U Now,' dropped earlier this year, everyone assumed it was about his ex Selena Gomez, based on its obvious lyrics.

After Justin let everyone know exactly how he felt about seeing Selena at the Met Gala back in May, this casted some doubts about whether the song is about a broken-hearted Justin missing and needing Selena the most.

The famous exes were even spotted hanging out together in the same room in a much talked-about Snapchat video. The video had everyone wondering if the notoriously on-and-off couple were back on.

In Justin's new music video, people are seen going into a gallery and drawing over photos of Justin’s face. At one point during the psychedelic video, a message reads, “Where r now, Selena.”

But there’s another Jelena reference in the video, the words “Jelena 5Ever!” written on a wall and blatantly crossed out with an X, leading fans to believe that Justin is insisting the relationship is over for good.

“Justin wrote this record during a tough time in his life and it comes to us that sometimes," Skrillex and Diplo wrote in a statement.

"As artists, we are also just objects and we have to take that as much as we have to use that to create.”

There's no way to know if Justin personally drew the message but Justin usually has major creative influence on his music videos, so it is doubtful that the message made the cut without his knowledge.
