Carrie Underwood's husband Mike Fisher, who plays for the Nashville Predators of the National Hockey League, appeared on a local NBC station after signing a major new contract.
While he was chatting up with a news team, the network labeled the bottom of the screen that Fisher was “Married to Someone famous.” The description is technically true but it was quite bizarre that the network did not know the name of his superstar wife.
Luckily, both Mike and Carrie don't take themselves too seriously, they both cracked up at the description and even shared the clip on their social media accounts.
Mike posted the image on Instagram, adding a caption that he "had a good laugh at this!"

Afterwards, Carrie posted the same pic, with her own funny caption. "First Name: Someone. Last Name: Famous."

The awkward and embarrassing mistake of the network was reportedly planned.
"Last night on Channel 4, I put up this graphic under Mike Fisher's name. He laughed, Carrie Underwood laughed," Channel 4 Nashville's Joe Dubin wrote on his Facebook page.
"We all know who he is, we all know what a great guy he is, we all know who he is married to, right?? It is a joke everyone."
"Laugh.... we need to laugh more.... If we all spent more time laughing, less time bitching, I promise you, this world would be a much better place..." he added.
Underwood and Fisher make an undeniable power couple. The singer recently scored the 21st No. 1 single of her career with "Little Toy Guns."
She has an estimated net worth of $ 70 million according to Celebrity Net Worth.
Fisher, on the other hand, marked a new two-year contract extension with the Nashville Predators worth a reported $8.8 million.
They will celebrate their five-year anniversary next month. Their first child, son Isaiah Michael, was born in February.
