Watch One Direction's Liam Payne Sing in The Shower [VIDEO + PHOTOS]

While the One Direction fans all sit patiently waiting for new music from the popular boy band, Liam Payne treated their fans with some new solo material of his own. But it's not what the Directioners expect.

Posting a video to his Instagram, the 21-year-old was caught singing in the shower about just how fresh and clean he was getting, with such profound lyrics as "washing my hair feels so good."

Lyrics aside, there's one moment in particular which will make all Directioners' jaws drop - that high note.

The One Direction heartthrob was hidden behind a wall in the clip, but he couldn't hide his voice as he belted out a tune about washing his hair.

He captioned the video saying: "Today's shower song was caught on cam thanks to someone ... Thought I might as well share #nextalbum #SqueakyCleanDream"

Liam also jokingly hastags the video #NextAlbum, knowing that 1D fans are clamoring to know more about their updates to 'Four.'

The album will be the first to come from the group since Zayn Malik‘s exit in March.

He also posted it on Twitter, teasing fans by saying he'd stick the extended video up on iTunes. He joked: "Uncut version available on iTunes".

Liam will be seen stepping out of the shower, showing a glimpse of his naked leg, just as the person behind the camera stopped filming.

It seems the woman behind the camera was probably Payne's girlfriend, Sophia Smith. They are recently enjoying a trip to Disney World in Florida together.

Payne has been posting photos of his time at Disney World, including a shot of the magical kingdom, and him in a Goofy hat and Sophia with Minnie Mouse ears on.
