Steven Tyler Country: Aerosmith Singer A Little Bit Country With ‘Love Is Your Name’ [VIDEO]

After having been the singer and primary songwriter for rock band Aerosmith for more than 40 years, the man behind "I Don't Want To Miss A Thing" steers away from known territory with his new single and clip, where he shows the world how Steven Tyler's country chops go!

The first-ever Steven Tyler country song is called "Love Is Your Name," and the iconic Grammy-winning musician recently released the clip for it in "Good Morning America," but, as fans would expect from the former "American Idol" judge, his first stint into the genre that made Shania Twain and Taylor Swift famous is hardly your average country song.

According to Yahoo! Music, the making of Steven Tyler's country video was far from easy, as the 67 year-old Aerosmith frontman actually burned his eyebrows during the recording - certainly a man who suffers for his art!

"During the chorus, we had a big bonfire going," the rock star told People Magazine, speaking about the making of the first-ever Steven Tyler country video. "I burnt my eyebrows off, but it was worth it. We went through it and the wind blew. The jacket I wore had little fur pieces on it and I could smell the burn on it. It blew the flames right at me!"

In any case, specialized website Taste of Country reports that Steven Tyler's country video is far from the average one in the genre, as it's viewed more like the iconic singer and talent show judge modified the workings of country music to fill his own talents and ways to do things, remaining loyal to his flamboyant style in a video that "no other artist in country music would have even attempted."

"Love Is Your Name" is the first single of an album Tyler will be releasing soon with Big Machine Label Group, though he's currently full with Aerosmith being on tour.
