Batman v Superman: What Did Christian Bale Advise Ben Affleck in Playing Batman?

At this year's Comic Con in San Diego, Ben Affleck revealed that the Hollywood's outgoing  Batman (Christian Bale) gave him sound advice about how he'll measure up to the previous Dark Knight.

Ben Affleck stated, "If I thought too hard about the actors who played the part before, I couldn't take the job," and the actor also told the Comic-Con crowd, "George Clooney did great, Christian Bale..."

Ben Affleck said that he had a direct confrontation with retired Batman Bale months after the casting news of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice was announced. it was in a Halloween costume store, where Affleck was buying his son a Batman outfit.

Affleck said, "I was in the aisle and there was this 'Oy', and I turn around and it's Christian Bale. He's the sweetest guy," Affleck also said, "There he and I were standing in the Batman aisle of the costume store. I said, 'Look, man, you're the best. You got any tips?'" .Affleck then revealed the priceless advice, by imitating a British accent of Christian Bale, "Make sure you can piss in that suit.'"

The Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice director, Zack Snyder, was firm in his belief that Affleck was perfect for the role of being the Batman as the director has a totally new vision of Bruce Wayne, the vision of Wayne is at the end of his rope, older and he's burned out.

The bat-rage of Batman also plays out as a superhero class war, Ben Affleck enlightens with this statement, "There are some really interesting ideas of Metropolis being a big, successful city and Gotham being a place where a lot more downtrodden people live," he said. "There's a ferry people take across who work in Gotham City... there were a lot of ideas that were a little bit too smart for me to understand that the movie was trafficking in, and I thought made it feel real to me, and smart."
