Is the new Spider-Man making an appearance in the Netflix TV series 'Daredevil?'
Tom Holland, who has recently been casted as Peter Parker for 'Captain America: Civil War,' has just posted an Instagram picture of himself and a shirtless Jon Bernthal.
The former 'The Walking Dead' star was recently announced to be the new Punisher. Bernthal will appear in the second season of 'Daredevil' as Frank Castle.
Holland had captioned their picture, "Had an amazing time hanging with this guy. Much love brother. #pilgrimage #brothers."
The Instagram photo has immediately led to speculations that The Punisher will have a cameo in 'Captain America: Civil War.' Fans also think he might appear in one of the future Spider-Man films.
Other fans also believe that Tom Holland might appear as Peter Parker in 'Daredevil' Season Two. Bernthal has just been photographed filming for the series, and he appears to be a dressed-down version of The Punisher.
The new Punisher might not be wearing his trademark skull design Tshirt, and his look is more military than vigilante.
Tom Holland has previously been seen in the Ewan McGregor tragedy film 'The Impossible,' where he portrayed Naomi Watts' older son. He won the role of Peter Parker, despite previous news that Asa Butterfield was being considered for the part.
Holland will appear in 'Captain America: Civil War' and will also star in the new 'Spider-Man' movies.
Bernthal is best known for playing Shane in the first and second season of 'The Walking Dead.' He also starred in 'The Wolf of Wall Street' and 'Me and Earl and the Dying Girl.'
The actor has just wrapped up filming for the Ben Affleck action film 'The Accountant.'
'Daredevil' also stars Charlie Cox, Deborah Ann Woll, Elden Hanson and Rosario Dawson. The second season is scheduled to air on Netflix by 2016.
