Cadbury Chocolate 2015 Roses And Heroes Smaller In UK And Ireland Due To ‘Economic Issues’

For the second time in the year, the Cadbury chocolates 2015 Roses and Heroes, favorites in the United Kingdom and Ireland, are getting smaller in their presentation, although the retail price will continue to be the same - and the company cites "economic issues" for the decision.

Back in 2011, a tin of Roses Cadbury chocolates 2015 weighed 975 grams, while currently their size is 780 for the next few months, when the amount of chocolate will be dropped to 730 grams while Heroes will go from 780 to 695 grams, as the worldwide chocolate scare continues after the biggest chocolatiers have warned about cocoa production being currently in danger.

In fact, the reduction is the equivalent of 11 less chocolates in each tin.

According to AOL Money, Cadbury chocolates 2015 are trying to lighten things up for the brand by including two new chocolates in boxes, as the Roses tin will now also include Almond Caramel Bites, while there will be Wispas added to the tin box of Heroes.

The change in Cadbury chocolates' 2015 sizes will come during next Christmas.

The Irish Independent reports this isn't the only time in recent memory that Cadbury chocolates 2015 receive criticism over their sizes, as they caused controversy earlier this year when Easter favorite treat Cadbury Crème Eggs hit shelves with one less chocolate egg in the multipack as well as a different recipe, prompting many customers to complain.

"We are under pressure to ensure tubs are great value and are convinced the changes we have made to the mix of chocolates ensures they remain so," said brand manager Steve Chick to the press, Bitter Wallet reports.

The situation has been widely reported in the U.K. and Ireland, as consumers are displeased over not getting their money's worth, although the company continues to state they believe the relation between price and value is still a strong one.

It might be time for search for some bigger Cadbury chocolates 2015 now that they're still around.
