'Star Wars' Update: Which Major Character Will Die In 'The Force Awakens?' [SPOILERS]

Someone might be meeting their end in 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens,' and it's not a bad guy!

Although almost every detail about the new 'Star Wars' sequel has been sealed airtight, there are still a few spoilers that make their way into eager ears.

[SPOILERS AHEAD]

Epicstream has just reported about a source who works for a popular TV show with a costar who will appear in the upcoming 'Star Wars' movie. According to the source, the actor shared some bad news.

"He watched a scene being shot at Greenham common airbase in which Leia is sad and says 'I don't know how he will cope without him,'" the unnamed leaker said. "My source told me Han Solo dies, I quizzed him and he said he just presumed."

Then it gets worse.

"I then asked who was she talking to, he said a couple of Wookies but not Chewy," the source continued. "I asked him could you have meant that Chewy dies, he said that might of been the case, he didn't know just that one of them does."

Could Han Solo or Chewbacca get killed off in 'Star Wars: The Force Awakens?'

Harrison Ford, who has played the Millennium Falcon captain in Episodes IV to VI, has previously said he was expecting Han Solo to get killed off in 'Return of the Jedi.' However, "[creator] George [Lucas] didn't think there was any future in dead Han toys."

It is important to remember that all spoilers must be taken with a grain of salt. However, there could be a possibility that Han Solo will finally be allowed to leave the franchise with a bang.

The Han Solo spoiler isn't the first detail leaked by someone from TV. 'Mythbusters' star Adam Savage recently revealed that 'The Force Awakens' will feature a scene involving the holochess set from the earlier 'Star Wars' films.
