Everyone needs a good show to watch - just to relax or maybe binge watch. Several shows premiered this summer, and there's still more to come. Here's a list of shows anyone shouldn't miss this August:
"Significant Mother" on August 3, 9:30/8:30c
This CW comedy series was originally created for CW Seed and runs for half an hour per episode. The show chronicles the topsy-turvy life of Portland restaurateur Nate Marlow, (Josh Zuckerman).
Nate comes home from a business trip, only to find his best friend and roommate Jimmy Barnes (Nathaniel Buzolic) dating his mother, Lydia (Krista Allen).
Expect a lot of craziness in this Erin Cardillo and Richard Keith creation, as Nate's dad, Harrison (Jonathan Silverman), attempts to win Lydia back at the same time.
"Playing House" (Season Two) on August 4, 10/9c
Playing House chronicles the life of Maggie Caruso (Lennon Parham) who divorces her cheating husband while undergoing her pregnancy.
Maggie's best friend, Emma Crawford (Jessica St. Clair) then "gives up her career" to help Maggie raise the newborn baby. The USA show's cast also includes Zach Woods and Keegan-Michael Key of "Key & Peele."

"Mr. Robinson" on August 5, 9/8c
Craig Robinson stars as a "rough-edged musician" in this Owen Ellickson-created NBC show. The plot follows Craig as he adjusts to a new career as a middle school music teacher.
Catch Peri Gilpin, Brandon T. Jackson, Tim Bagley, and Dante Brown in this comedy series from the executive producer of "The Office" and "Parks and Recreation."
"Documentary Now!" on August 20, 10/9c
This IFC comedy is definitely going to be a showstopper. Created and starred by Fred Armisen and Bill Hader, the "mockumentary series" inserts comedy while taking on a wide array of serious topics.
Also created by Seth Meyers, expect the show to have a lot of appearances from notable celebs like Jack Black, John Slattery, Irving Azoff, Aidy Bryant, Mike O'Brien, Paula Pell and Tim Robinson.
"Blunt Talk" on August 22, 9/8c
When you have a show executive produced by Seth MacFarlane, created by Jonathan Ames and starring Patrick Stewart, it's a sure fire hit.
Starz's "Blunt Talk" is about an alcoholic British news anchor, Walter Blunt (Patrick Stewart) who moves to Los Angeles to be an American talk show host. Adrian Scarborough, Timm Sharp, and Jacki Weaver also star in the 30-minute comedy series.
"Survivor's Remorse" (Season Two) on August 22, 9:30/8:30c
This Starz show surrounds the life of Cam Calloway (Jessie T. Usher) as he packs up his bags and moves to Atlanta with his family after signing a pro basketball contract.
Created by Mike O'Malley and executive produced by LeBron James, the drama series also stars RonReaco Lee, Erica Ash, Teyonah Parris, Mike Epps, and Tichina Arnold.
"Public Morals" on August 25, 10/9c
This TNT period drama is about the officers of the New York City Public Morals Division, back in 1967. "Public Morals" is expected to showcase a lot of temptation, criminality, and morality with the prevalent amount of vices surrounding them.
Executive produced by Steven Spielberg, the show's creator and starring actor Edward Burns runs alongside Brian Dennehy, Neal McDonough, Michael Rapaport, Katrina Bowden, and Timothy Hutton.
"Legends" (Season Two) on August 25, 10/9c
Another action/crime/drama series from TNT, "Legends" follows undercover FBI agent Matin Odum (Sean Bean), who starts to "question his own identity" after meeting a mysterious stranger.
Ali Larter, Tina Majorino, Amber Valletta, Morris Chestnut, Steve Harris, and Mason Cook. Created by Howard Gordon, the show is executive produced by Alexander Cary, Jonathan Levin, Brad Turner, and David Wilcox.
"The Carmichael Show" on August 26, 9/8c
Like "Playing House," this NBC show's starring actor also serves as its executive producer, Jerrod Carmichael.
The NBC comedy series follows stand up comedian Jerrod coping with his relationships with his father Joe (David Alan Grier), mother Cynthia (Loretta Devine), brother Bobby (Lil Rel Howery), and girlfriend Maxine (Amber Stevens West).
