Jenna Dewan-Tatum Joins ‘Supergirl’ as Lucy Lane

The American actress, dancer and the wife of Channing Tatum, Jenna Lee Dewan-Tatum, began her career as a backup dancer for Janet Jackson, and later worked with artists including Pink, Missy Elliott, and Christina Aguilera, has confirmed that she will join Supergirl to play as Lucy Lane. Lucy Lane (sister of Superman's girlfriend, Lois Lane), is a brash, funny, and beautiful as her big sister, but Lucy Lane is also strong, smart, and successful all on her own.

Lucy Lane in DC Comics' Superman stories, has got a romantic history with Jimmy Olsen (the young photojournalist working for the Daily Planet), when she came back to her town to make it right, which was previously wrong.

The character Jimmy Olsen in Supergirl, is one hot photographer who will definitely win the hearts of the viewers, fueled by the romantic history of Lucy Lane and Jimmy Olsen.

But there seems to be some competition over the affections of the photojournalist, as  Jimmy and  Kara Zor-El (Supergirl) are having a bit of at least a friendship. And Jimmy Olsen got a love interest for Kara, who both work at CatCo.

After Jenna Lee Dewan-Tatum's guest gig on The Mindy Project, the actress joins the cast in Supergirl and would mark her return in the small screen. The news of Jenna Lee Dewan-Tatum in Supergirl came after when her husband Channing Tatum signed on to star in a comic book property Marvel's X-Men spinoff movie. Channing Tatum will play the title character Gambit , a mutant who harnesses kinetic energy.

The latest addition to Supergirl Dewan-Tatum, will be joining a roster of guest and recurring cast members, including Nurse Jackie alum Peter Facinelli as Maxwell Lord (a green tech billionaire who is fascinated with National City's newest citizen - Supergirl), and known as villain Reactron - Chris Browning as Ben Krull

Supergirl will launch on Mondays by CBS, and it will premiere on Oct. 26 at 8:30 p.m.
