‘Transparent' Star Jeffrey Tambor Says Transgender Maura Would Envy Caitlyn Jenner

On Monday, Jeffrey Tambor said that the character in the television series, Transparent ,Maura Pfefferman (a retired college professor of political science who finally opens up to her family about always identifying as a woman) would be very envious of the attention that has surrounded the real-life that debuted Caitlin Jenner as a woman.

Jeffrey Tambor plays the transgender Maura in the American comedy-drama television series created by Jill Soloway - "Transparent." On December 4, the award-winning Amazon Prime series Transparent, will return for a second season.

The American actor, voice actor, and best known for his roles as Hank Kingsley on The Larry Sanders Show,Jeffrey Tambor (who's had dinner with Jenner) said, that they love Caitlyn.

The Golden Globe Award for Best Actor - Television Series Musical or Comedy ,Jeffrey Tambor, stated, "If my knees were knocking, you can imagine her knees," Tambor also said, "I think she is courageous and I told her so. The example she is setting is so, so beautiful and it's gonna go very, very far. (It's) not only illustrative but also very inspiring to me."

Jill Soloway, the creator of Transparent, said that Transparent have changed in the last year since the show started and it's going to be a mind-blowing in the upcoming season.

Jeffrey Tambor, said that in the upcoming season of the Transparent, the character of Maura will evolve.

Tambor stated, "Maura will no longer be so much of a central figure as a gateway figure." "She'll be the gateway to so many other character stories - all about what happens when you decide to be authentic." and Tambor also added, "I've had some wonderful conversations from there to here meeting wonderful people and people talking about their families, either on the street or people stopping me," "Most often, they want to talk to me about their families, and that has enriched my life a lot."

Transparent also stars Judith Light and Bradley Whitford  who received 11 nominations for next month's Emmy Awards.
