The American singer and actress Christina Milian, revealed the heart breaking news on Instagram that her newborn nephew Richie Bear passed away.
Richie Bear was the newborn son of Christina Milian's younger sister Danielle, he died just hours after Danielle gave birth to him.
On Tuesday, the Reality TV star Danielle and her husband Richard Dickerson witnessed the birth of their third child,however their joy was short lived. The unborn was diagnosed with omphalocele and that caused his death.
Danielle posted on Instagram, with an image of what appeared to be the handprint of their baby Richie Bear, accompanied by a statement, "Yesterday I was blessed with the birth of my Richie Bear. Unfortunately, last night he took his place with the Lord and we said goodbye," along with it "I so appreciate the prayers and support from everyone. He touched my heart and was perfect in so many ways."
In June, after Danielle had her ultrasound, she revealed that her unborn was diagnosed with omphalocele. It is a life-threatening condition that causes the organs of the baby to develop outside the body.
When the doctors suggested to them to terminate the pregnancy. The couple made a stand to give the baby a chance to live.
The 33 year old Christina Milian had expressed her sympathy for her younger sister Danielle, in a message to her 2.6 million-plus followers on Instagram, "The last 24 hours have been an emotional roller coaster, but I'd like to thank everyone for being so supportive throughout my sister Danielle & Richard's pregnancy," Christina added, "The both of them have shown the true measure of courage and faith for the last 9 months and I can't praise them more."
Christina's sister is already a mother to 8 year old son Daniel and her 14 months old baby girl Naomi. On Wednesday, Christina Milian stated that her family were grateful for the time they had with baby Richie.
