Kanye West Unveils New Yeezy Boost Colorway at VMAs

Last night's instalment of MTV's Music Video Awards was very much a Kanye West dominated affair.

The rapper and fashion designer was given the honorary 'Video Vanguard' award by Taylor Swift, the victim of his now infamous interruption on the same VMA stage years ago. West shocked the world by announcing in his acceptance speech that he would be running for president in 2020. However, many people felt the biggest bombshell of the night is what Kanye had on his feet.

West walked the red carpet wearing a previously unknown colorway of his popular Yeezy Boost 350 sneakers which he designed together with German sportswear giant Adidas.

The shoes are the same model as the two previous sneakers which sold out around the globe. This time however, they're rendered in a sandy, tan color.

The unveiling of the tan color variant comes just days after images of an all-white version of the shoe were pictured on Kanye. The 'Beluga Whites' are rumored to be releasing as part of Kanye's fall/winter collection together with a combat/duck boot hybrid called the Yeezy 950.

Neither Adidas nor Kanye have confirmed if this particular Tan model will be hitting store shelves anytime soon, but you can expect a ruckus if they do. The first two iterations of the 350, the 'Turtle Dove' and 'Pirate Black', sold out near instantly when they hit store shelves earlier this year. Retailing for $200, they've been known to go for 4 to 5 times that amount on the secondary market.

One man even tried to trade his pair of Yeezy's for a Kidney. According to TMZ, Kanye caught wind of this and offered to replace his shoes with a new pair if a trade ever does come happen.
