Chris Brown and Nia Guzman Gearing Up For Custody Court Battle of Baby Royalty In 2 Weeks [PHOTOS]

Their attempt at co-parenting has hardly been smooth sailing, but for Chris Brown, it's going to get even more dramatic. Chris will reportedly face Nia Guzman in court in two weeks to dispute the custody of their 1-year-old daughter, Royalty.

While Nia wants full custody of Royalty with Chris only allowed supervised visitation, the singer wants joint custody and he has a strategy in place to get it: throwing Nia’s felon boyfriend, King Ba, right back in her face.

According to TMZ, the 26-year-old singer has plans to counter Nia Guzman's efforts to take full custody of Royalty with that defense.

Nia plans to protest Chris’ request for joint custody on claims that he is a 'bad guy,' who hang out with 'thugs' and smokes weed, according to the outlet.

However, her claims may be slammed when Chris describes to the court that Nia is currently dating and rumored to be living with someone who is a bad influence and a wanted man.

King Ba, whose real name is Brazil Riesling and is listed as the father on Royalty's birth certificate, was reportedly charged with fraud and is currently wanted by police.

They report that he's accused of forging more than $5,000 worth of U.S. Treasury checks and state that police have released bank surveillance footage of him.

As a result, Chris Brown is afraid that his daughter could be put in danger and will demand equal parenting rights when he appears in court, mid September.

It’s thought that the Grammy award winner’s new argument will actually be dismissed by Nia, who allegedly claims that she is no longer with King Ba.

An earlier report stated that Chris had refused a $10,000 per month child support agreement in July after being denied access to Royalty while she was visiting his mother, Joyce Hawkins.

Nia currently has primary custody of their daughter Royalty, and it is unknown when Chris’ legal team would be filing the opposition documents.
