'SPAMERICANTOUR' 2015: A Revolutionary Way to Introduce New Spam Menus

The Spamerican Food Truck is creating a buzz as it visits various stated to introduce the canned goodness. As Per PR Newswire, the Spam themed dishes made the headlines as the ordinary pork, water, salt, sugar and cornstarch mixture was turned into a heavenly gourmet dish by each city's chef. Chefs across the US infused their menus with the classic flavored Spam.
The Spamerican Tour visits 12 cities around the United States. Per stop over Spam would team up with a local chef who will then create a dish that would feature Spam's "history, versatility, and cultural impact." One of the crowd,s favorite is the "Kimchi Spam Musubi Croissant" which was created in LA. [ Independent UK]
Nicole L. Behne, Marketing Director, Grocery Products Division released a statement regards to the Spamerican Tour.
"We discovered love for the brand popping up all over the U.S., from diners in the midwest serving SPAM® and eggs, to trendy Manhattan hot spots featuring SPAM® Musubi, with the SPAMERICANTM Tour, we have set out to share these delicious SPAM® recipes with America and celebrate the chefs who serve them."

The tour truck can usually be spotted on famous events such as Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach, Denver's Cinco De Mayo Festival and the Atlanta Jazz Festival. Aside from exhibiting new dishes that can be made out of Spam, the crowd will get a chance to learn different trivia regarding the product. Spam themed art and music performances with instruments made with recycled SPAM cans are also the highlight of the event.
