Josh Brolin Batman: 'Guardians Of The Galaxy' Star Speaks Out About Losing Bruce Wayne Role To Ben Affleck In 'Dawn Of Justice'

Josh Brolin doesn't seem to have any trouble jumping from one comic book universe to another. The 47-year-old actor has played the DC antihero in 2010 film 'Jonah Hex' before playing Marvel supervillain Thanos in 'Guardians of the Galaxy' last year.

But does Josh Brolin have what it takes to play Bruce Wayne in 'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice.'

Josh Brolin was recently promoting his new film 'Sicario' at the 2015 Toronto International Film Festival. According to MTV, the 'Inherent Vice' star revealed that he was up for the role of Batman alongside Ben Affleck, who eventually won the part. However, Brolin confirmed he isn't jealous of Affleck and doesn't feel bad about the missed opportunity.

"I don't have that thing, I wish I did," he said. "It would just be more interesting and more competitive, damn him. As much as you guys want to be pissed off, be pissed off, it's all good. Start a f-king riot."

All kidding aside, Josh Brolin admits he is looking forward to seeing Ben Affleck as the Caped Crusader when 'Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice' finally hits theaters.

"I'm really curious what he does," he said. "Beyond curious."

Although Josh Brolin would have been an effective Batman, he also seems determined to prove that he is the only actor who could possibly portray Thanos. The 'Oldboy' star is set to reprise his role as the Mad Titan in 'Avengers: Infinity War,' which will split into two separate movies. And with Thanos being determined to complete the Infinity Gauntlet, every single Avenger is fair game.

"I don't have a favorite because it's me against all of them," Brolin said when asked which Avenger he is looking forward to defeating. "I think the entirety is what I'm most looking forward to. Each and every one. I'm bringing the wrath."
