Ronda Rousey Has 'As Much Sex As Possible' Before Fights - Find Out Why! [VIDEO]

MMA fighter Ronda Rousey has been surfacing on the media for her ongoing back and forth jabs with Floyd Mayweather. But this time, ESPY Award winner is making headlines for a totally different reason.

While on "Jim Rome on Showtime," Ronda Rousey was asked on how long she thinks a fighter should abstain before an actual fight.

Ronda Rousey had this to say: "For girls, it raises your testosterone, so I try to have as much sex as possible before I fight, actually."

Unfortunately for those crushing on Ronda Rousey, this recent discovery doesn't mean you have a better chance of getting in bed with the "number one pound-for-pound female fighter in the world."

Ronda also shares that her desire to have intercourse will depend on whether or not she has a boyfriend at the time.

"Not like with everybody. I don't put out Craigslist ads or anything. But if I got a steady, I'm going to be like, 'Yo, fight time's coming up,'" Ronda added, probably breaking a lot of hearts out there.

As for men, Ronda Rousey said:

"For the guys, I think that's a little bit excessive. I think that a lot of the studies I've read about it, has not really substantiated the claim that if you abstain from ever having sex for that long, that actually raises your testosterone. You might actually start producing less. I think it's like, you can't go f--k somebody and fight that day."

Muhammad Ali was notable for saying that he would abstain from sex six weeks leading up to a big fight. But apparently, what works as a disadvantage for men could be highly advantageous for female fighters.

You can catch Ronda Rousey's next bout against Holly Holm in November.
