Chet Faker Net Worth: 'No Diggity' Musician Announces Upcoming EP With Flume [SONGS]

There was a huge invasion of Australia musicians in 2013 as these lads from down under dominated the EDM industry. Some of which were George Maple, Hermitude, in addition to known acts such as NERVO, Knife Party, Flume and Chet Faker.

In a recent interview with THUMP, Chet Faker opened up about how it was like working with Flume on their 2013 collaborative EP, "Lockjaw."

"The whole idea behind that was because I wanted to create a separate vision between my art, which is my bread and butter, and this opposite approach which was open arms and like, 'let's just make music and see what comes out.'"

It actually seems like a match made in heaven: Chet Faker was able to put more focus on his vocals while Flume took over the production of every track. However, Chet Faker feels as though the work they've put in isn't enough, and that there needs to be more:

"I write and produce and record all of my own s-t on my own, and I liked coming to that project as just a vocalist in a way. Just thinking about vocals and even kind of letting go a bit more, there are lots of things on that "Lockjaw" EP that I would change, but that's what a collaboration is."

While on the subject, Chet Faker also confirmed that he would be working with Flume yet again (and Marcus Marr) to release their second collaborative EP, which he notes "is coming out very soon."
