Microsoft Announces Xbox One Wireless Controller, Phil Spencer Reveals Making Xbox 360 Games Playable On PC

Microsoft has announced that they will be launching an Xbox One USB Wireless Adapter for Windows devices. The new device which will be available this coming October 20 and can act as a videogame controller in order to make the PC gaming experience a lot easier.

The new Xbox Wireless Adapter can be used in wireless video gaming when plugged into a laptop or PC unit. With the technology incorporated in the said dongle, users can now experience a new level of gaming which include comfort and cutting edge precision.

According to PC World, the new device is compatible with both PC and Xbox games. It can also be streamed to a Windows 10 device which can enhanced the user's gaming experience.

Other fresh features are also included in the new wireless dongle such as in-game chat and high quality stereo audio. Unfortunately, the wireless adapter will be only available to Windows 10 devices with USB 2.0 or USB 3.0 ports. PCMag also reported that the dongle is not compatible for controllers specifically designed for Xbox 360.

The latest device is said to be the newest move of the American multinational company which is to put together Windows 10 and the Xbox One. The wireless adapter will be priced at $25 which others find expensive given that the controller will cost $85.

Meanwhile, Phil Spencer of Xbox discussed the idea of making the Xbox 360 games playable on PCs.

In an interview with Gizmodo Brazil, Spencer expressed his desire to make 360 games compatible with Computers.

"[Xbox games on Xbox One is] something I want to do, but it is a matter of priority. I would love to have the ability to play Xbox 360 on PC at some point too, so we have different things we have to think about when we plan these things," said by the head of Microsoft's Xbox.
