Anne Hathaway is one of those Hollywood stars, like her one-time Academy Award co-host James Franco, who audiences either love or downright hate, and there's even a name for the action of not liking the Oscar winner, Hathahate - and recent news about Anne Hathaway's diet may have just fueled it.
In the past few days, Anne Hathaway's diet has been making news not for any big weight loss she's gone through (the "Les Miserables" actress has always had a very slim frame), but rather because it has been revealed that she can be impossibly picky when it comes to her eating choices, at least with breakfast.
According to TMZ, the 32 year-old actress and producer was recently working at the Paramount lot in Los Angeles shooting a Japanese commercial when things got a little out of hand with Anne Hathaway's diet, as she asked caterers of the shoot for some eggs - actually sending her breakfast back four times.
As Vulture reports, the story about Anne Hathaway's diet, which has obviously gone viral since it came out, claims that these were the reasons for the four times she sent back her food:
1. Her poached eggs were too runny.
2. While they were poaching the second egg, the English muffin was cold.
3. While the chef was toasting the second muffin, the second egg became cold.
4. Everything was perfect but the whole thing took too long, so Hathaway chose to have fried eggs instead.
According to Page Six, previous reports about Anne Hathaway's diet (particularly from "Devil Wears Prada" co-star Emily Blunt) have said quite the opposite about the "Princess Diaries" actress, saying she was so nice it was impossible to be mean to her.
Could stardom have gotten to her head?
It's hard to know whether this story about Anne Hathaway's diet is really about her displaying full diva temperament or about just absolutely terrible caterers - though she definitely does seem to have quite a set mind about her eggs!
