Does Tom Cruise have a new love interest?
Despite reports of the "Mission Impossible" actor dating Laura Prepon, a rep for the actor said the stories are false, according to Us Weekly.
"They see each other at some functions, but they are not dating," an insider told the magazine. "[Cruise] will date again and has been talking with women."
The actor was reportedly spotted having dinner with the "That '70s Show" actress at the Manor Hotel in Los Angeles earlier this week, sparking rumors the two were an item. The actor reportedly also picked Prepon up in a classic car and surprised her with a vintage 1979 bottle of merlot.
A report from the British magazine Grazia, Cruise and Prepon became friends with Prepon through Scientology. Prepon is reportedly a devout follower.
According to E! News, the couple's date went so well, the duo returned to the restaurant for a second date over Sunday brunch and Prepon reportedly accompanied Cruise to party at John Travolta's home.
Cruise has not been publicly linked to any women since his 2012 divorce from Katie Holmes. The "Oblivion" actor and ex-wife Holmes shares daughter Suri, 7. Cruise was also married to actress Nicole Kidman.
"He's actually a lot more relaxed and more extroverted," an insider told Us Weekly after the divorce. "Tom still sees [Suri] and speaks to her on the phone."
Prepon dated "Malcolm in the Middle" actor Christopher Masterson for seven years before calling it quits in 2007. Prepon is best known for her role as Donna Pinciotti in Fox's hit sitcom That "70's Show".
