Kim Richards Sentenced For Target Shoplifting Arrest

Reality television personality Kim Richards, who's best known for starring as a full-cast member in the popular TV series 'The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills', was reportedly sentenced with grounds from her target shoplifting arrest, which took place earlier in August, TMZ reported.

Reports say that Richards was sentenced with a 3-year probation, 300 hours of community service and 52 Alcoholics Anonymous meetings.

On Wednesday, October 28, the judge announced the sentence and has also banned the actress from going to the Target store where the shoplifting violation reportedly took place.

Richards was detained by a Target security guard after she was caught trying to carry out more than $600 worth of items back in August 2.

The 51-year old actress was also involved in the same sentence after pleading no match to the arrest back in September, when she was forced to leave from her Beverly Hotel in April and was ordered to keep her distance from the hotel.

As for Richard's current status, reports have claimed that the actress enjoys herself being sober. However, according to one source close to her, Richards is seemingly trying to get her life together and doing what her sentence has required her to do.

"At the moment, Kim seems to be doing OK. She goes to AA. She's trying to get some projects off the ground. There are three or four in the works." the source explained.

Though the source revealed that she is doing well with her sanctions, the source added that Richards wasn't happy about the community service sentence, adding that she even tried to escape it by submitting some X-rays of her injured foot.

Reports say that aside from noting several improvements on Richard, the source also revealed the actress is showing good signs to her relationship with her sister Kyle.

"Her relationship with Kyle is better. At one point, things really weren't good. But they're better now. Family is family." the source said.

Last June, it was confirmed that Kim Richards would not be returning for the sixth installment of 'The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills'.
