Veterans Day 2015: FREE Food, BEST Discounts and Deals Here

Veterans Day 2015 is here, and with that comes numerous FREE food and products, as well as discounts from different stores around the U.S.

Taking place on November 11, Wednesday, most places during Veterans Day 2015 will surely offer military members and their families FREE meals and discounts, but it still pays to know which stores actually offer the deals, and how long they will last.

Check out a list of the stores who want to give back to those who have given this Veterans Day 2015, offering FREE food and BEST discounts, as reported by USA Today, The Inquisitr, and U.S. News & World Report.

FOOD

iHop. The restaurant chain is offering FREE pancakes colored red, white and blue to veterans and active duty personnel. The offer lasts from 7 a.m. until 7 p.m.
Denny's. They are offering FREE grand slam breakfast from 5 a.m. until 11 a.m.
Starbucks. They are is giving away one FREE traditional tall brewed coffee to active duty service members, veterans, and military spouses.
Ruby Tuesday. They are offering one FREE appetizer.
Panera Bread. They are giving away one FREE "you pick two" meal.
Hooters. They are offering one FREE meal the entire Veterans Day 2015. The Hooters Veterans Day meal will reportedly be called a "thank you" meal.
Applebee's. They are offering a menu especially for veterans, who could choose one FREE meal each.
Olive Garden. The same as Applebee's, they have a special menu for veterans, but the FREE meals come with a 10% discount for the family members eating with the Veteran.
Golden Corral. They are offering a FREE meal from 5 p.m. until 9 p.m. on Wednesday, Veterans Day 2015 only.
Red Robin. They will be giving away a FREE burger and FREE fries for veterans on Wednesday only as well.

Bonanza Steakhouse. They are offering one FREE buffet for all veterans.
Carraba's. They are giving away a FREE appetizer the entire week to all military personnel with an ID.
City Barbeque. They are giving away one FREE sandwich platter to veterans, but only at selected restaurants.
Glory Days. They are offering either a FREE appetizer, or one set of boneless wings.
Menchies and Orange Leaf. They are offering a FREE frozen yogurt.

NON-FOOD

Great Clips. They are giving away FREE haircut cards for veterans. Their offer for Veterans Day lasts until December 31.
Colonial Williamsburg. They will be offering FREE weekend-long admission tickets to active-duty military, reservists, retirees, veterans, and immediate dependents beginning Thursday, November 7, until Wednesday, November 11.
Patriots Point Naval and Maritime Museum. Admission is FREE on Veterans Day 2015 only. They are located in Mount Pleasant, South Carolina.
National Parks. On Veterans Day Wednesday, admission is FREE for all, veterans and the public.
Bed Bath & Beyond. They are offering 20% OFF on home decors to veterans and military spouses, but some exclusions apply. A U.S. military ID is required at the time of purchase.
Sears. Sears will be having a SALE starting Veterans Day 2015 until Saturday, November 14. 40% OFF or more will also be available for Kenmore appliances, 20% OFF on select sale and regular-priced purchases, and up to60% OFF on mattresses.Regular-priced tools and home appliances will also have 40% DISCOUNT, while discounted tools will be offered at 10% OFF to veterans and 5% OFF on home appliances.
Amazon. They are offering 20% OFF on selected products in the fashion department. The promo code is "20VETERANS" at checkout. The code is valid only on November 11 until 11:59 p.m. PT.
Carter's. There will be 50% OFF on all baby apparel, available to all. On November 11, simply print an in-store coupon or use promo code "VETDAY25" online to take another 25% OFF or $40 OFF, or more.
Eddie Bauer. They are offering DISCOUNTS from November 11 to 12, up to50% OFFon select products for men and women, as well as gear.
Lord & Taylor. They will be having aBig Veterans Day Saleavailable to all.
Jo-Ann Fabric and Craft Stores. They will be having aVeterans Day doorbusters event where all their stocks will come at DISCOUNTED prices.
Jos. A. Bank. Their Veterans Day 2015 DISCOUNTS will reportedly reach up to 70% OFF.
Sleep Number. They have a Veterans Day special edition bed which will come at $500 OFF the original price. The special edition queen mattresswith SleepIQ technology is on sale for $1,599.98 (regularly $2,099.98). The sale lasts from November 11 to November 15.

Veterans Day 2015 certainly has a lot of freebies and discounts in store for everyone, but veterans are encouraged to bring their IDs for more discounts.
