Shakira, Gerard Pique Adult Tape Used For Blackmail?

A Shakira, Gerard Pique sex tape is allegedly being used to blackmail the celebrity couple. However, a rep has confirmed that there is no truth to the Shakira, Gerard Pique sex tape, which is rumored to have been in the possession of a former employee.

Spanish publication Diario Vasco first broke out the news that Colmobian singer Shakira, and her boyfriend, Barcelona defender Gerard Pique had a sex tape and that they are being blackmailed. Pique is believed to have weekly earnings of £130,000.

A former employee reportedly has in his/her possession a video containing "erotic content," which would be released to the public if the couple do not provide a "big sum of money."

On Wednesday, Pique's spokesperson told Sportsmail that there was no truth to the Shakira, Gerard Pique sex tape, which several media outlets, such as Daily Mail, TMZ and Perez Hilton, speculate to be true.

Shakira, 38, and Pique, 28, have two sons named Milan, 2, and Sasha, 11 months.

The couple met while Shakira had been promoting her song, "Waka Waka - Time for Africa," which had become the 2010 World Cup's anthem.

Rumors of the Shakira, Gerard Pique sex tape comes after the recent incident of Real Madrid striker Mathieu Valbuena being blackmailed by French teammate Karim Benzema over another alleged sex tape, according to Fox News.

Versailles' judicial police arrested Benzema for the case. However, his lawyers insist he had nothing to do with extorting money from his teammate.

The charge might land Benzema at least five years in prison if found guilty of having any involvement in the alleged blackmail. Investigators are now trying to determine the extent of Benzema's knowledge on the existence of the video showing Valbuena and which made its way into the possession of blackmailers, according to The Daily Mail.
