According to Hollywood Life, the hot TV couple kicked off Sofia Vergara's wedding weekend with a bang last Thursday, inviting their closest family members and friends to a fancy cocktail party to celebrate the couple's love, on a private spot at The Breakers Palm Beach.
E! Online reports that more than 100 rooms have been booked at the hotel where Sofia Vergara's wedding is taking place, and the guests are altogether invading Palm Beach, as another 50 private homes on the city are reported to have been rented for the big occasion.
There will be a set of parties over the entire Sofia Vergara wedding weekend and those lucky enough to see these two lovebirds become husband and wife are committed to keeping it a private affair: they'll have to check their cellphones at the door!
A couple of months back, the Colombian-born star gushed about her party plans to Martha Stewart Weddings, revealing that she'd had her makeup time "down to a science" by saying she'd be taking two hours to do it, while she'd focused on a big and delicious wedding cake and "lots of desserts" for the big day, as well as "creating memories that [she's] always going to cherish."
