Salma Hayek's Weight Loss and Beauty Tips: Find Out How She Defies Ageing

Salma Hayek arrived at the British Fashion Awards with her billionaire husband François-Henri Pinault. The Mexican- American beauty wore a body hugging, pink dress that exquisitely highlighted her tiny waist.

Apparently, Hayek, who has an incredible figure hates exercising and adores cocktails very much. "I have the bad habit of not exercising and not eating healthy food," the actress admitted to Glamour magazine. The Oscar nominee confessed that she doesn't pay much attention to her physical health and doesn't particularly follow a healthy diet as she's "lazy with the maintenance" and revealed "I have the bad habit of liking wine and cocktails."

But although she hates activities that require physical effort, Salma on the other hand practices restorative yoga, "a gentle form of yoga that uses props to promote mindfulness and relaxation," Celebrity Health & Fitness reported.

"I work with a woman in London who taught me how to hold my body in a way where the muscles are activated all day long, so even when you brush your teeth, you're working the muscles," Hayek explained.

She said her friend taught her how to tone her muscles without even "clenching them." She said with no tension she has learned how to relax some of her muscles and just "focus on the parts that need to be used."

As for her skin, at the age of 49, Salma clearly defies her years, thanks to her beauty regime. She said she always removes her make up before going to bed and she always applies rejuvenating lotion onto her skin.

Hayek said the lotion she's been using has a special ingredient called Tepezcohuite. It can only be found in Mexico and it is widely used for burn victims because it "completely regenerates the skin." So she proudly added, "This is why I have no Botox, no peels, no fillings."
