Chris Hemsworth Pays Parents' Debt

You may know him as that Mighty Thor in that superhero movie. Well, he's a superhero in real life as well. In an act of appreciation to his parents' sacrifices, Australian actor Chris Hemsworth pays the debts of his parents.

In a call, Craig, Chris' dad mentioned to the actor that he is currently in some debt and might be paying it until death. Chris called back his father and asked him to simply look at his account.

It was Liam, Chris' brother and also an actor, who proudly announced his brother's act of kindness in a recent interview with The Independent. Liam, who currently stars in the part two of The Hunger Games : Mockingjay, told the press that the father thanked Chris and felt happy to not think about the debt anymore. Liam would like to do something like that to his parents too in the future.

Chris' dad is a social services worker, and mom, Leonie, is a teacher.

Yes, paying off your parents' debts is not enough repayment for your parents' sacrifices. It sure does reflect how much value you give to your mom and dad though. For Chris Hemsworth, that is just what he did. He is currently making big bucks, so shelling out some bucks for your family should not be a hard thing to do.

Chris used to clean breast pumps to make ends meet in the past. He is now far from that. He is rich and is even hailed as one of the sexiest man alive.

Chris will be seen next in the movie In The Heart of the Sea and another Thor installment.

Chris - along with his brothers, Luke and Liam - is currently an ambassador of the Australian Childhood Foundation. Their parents have been involved with the foundation, so the brothers see it fitting to follow the parents' footsteps. The Australian Childhood Foundation is responsible for providing support to abandoned and abused kids.
