Kira Kazantsev’s Talent In Miss America Pageant Less Than Impressive According To Fans

The newest winner of the Miss America pageant has been slammed in social media as people across the country thought New York's Kira Kazantsev's talent when doing cups percussions didn't deserve the crown. The California-born beauty sang Pharrell Williams' popular song 'Happy' as she played percussions with a cup, in a manner reminding of Anna Kendrick's hit single 'Cups (When I'm Gone)', popularized last year after appearing in the movie 'Pitch Perfect'.

While Kira Karantsev's talent won over the Miss America judges, it proved wildly unpopular with people across the country watching the pageant and tweeting about it. Her singing wasn't a problem, but users of social network Twitter took to saying her scene with cups was not a real talent.

Kira Kazantsev's talent show at the Miss America pageant was a major source of disapproval last Sunday, as she sat on the floor singing Pharrell Williams' 'Happy' while doing percussions with a red cup at the same time.

However, according to an article by Newsday, Kira Kazantsev's talent was shown so she could tell women around the country that they could use any talent they felt comfortable with when entering the pageant, noting that there are bigger and more important issues going on other than her playing with a plastic cup on national television. "I hope people understand that's just part of who I am, and I wanted to present myself that way I wanted to," she said. She'll be using her $50,000 scholarship to attend law school.

The titleholder for the American beauty crown stated that she's aware she'll be criticized for everything she says and does for now on, and that she's not uncomfortable with her new status - not even by that particular detail.

In any case, one thing is certain: one of Kira Kazatsev's talents is not letting criticism get under her skin!
