Paleo Pete Evans and Manu Feildel Discusses Controversial Diet

Manu Fieldel, TV presenter and long time friend and co-worker to Pete Evans discusses Evans' lifestyle. Fieldel claims that he's done the Paleo diet Evans recommended and has lost seven kilos.

"The (paleo) program was great. I needed to do something for my health and my mate Pete has been talking about it for two years, so I decided to give it a go."

Fieldel started the diet a few months ago and although he has lost a healthy amount of weight, Fieldel still has guilt in his tummy. He is French after all. His blood runs on wine and cheese. Because of this, his diet also consists of a daily fitness exercise routine.

Although Evans appeared to have added a few kilos on set last week, he still appeared healthy despite the fuller face. Fieldel explained that Evans went to an extreme edge when he started changing his diet but has confirmed that Evans now has found a balance, saying he "...knows what he should do and he looks good."

Fieldel has been open about defending Evans' course to a healthy diet, he continues...

Watch the show if you like, or don't watch it if you don't like it. It should be as simple as that. The funny thing is, what most Australians eat is actually amazing ... what they put in their bodies. They should look up to him, more than dislike him about it

Evans' public introduction to the ten week Paleo diet includes nutrition and fitness tips, as posted online.

Fieldel was a yo-yo dieter and publicly struggled to maintain a slim bod because of his passion for gourmet food. He packed 10 kilos in April while filming the show. My Kitchen Rules openly supports his new diet plan with reality co-star Evans. The controversial Paleo diet restricts him from indulging in processed foods, dairy and grains - with the exception of cheese and wine (being French and all).
