Jennifer Love Hewitt and Matt Damon: The New Criminal Minds Cast Member Sent Jason Bourne a Very Odd Present [VIDEO]

Jennifer Love Hewitt and Matt Damon apparently have a funny story behind them, as the new Criminal Minds cast member told late show host Jimmy Kimmel that, back when Damon had just made it big alongside Ben Affleck, the actress sent him a bed!
There’s nothing sexual about Jennifer Love Hewitt and Matt Damon’s story of a bed, but rather a fairly sweet story about how nice the actress has always been to people, even if she doesn’t know them.
Jennifer Love Hewitt’s Matt Damon present happened when the actor and Ben Affleck had just become famous for their screenwriting debut, Good Will Hunting (a film where the pair also starred), which made them both overnight celebrities in the late 90s, even winning them an Oscar for Best Original Screenplay at the time. Jennifer Love Hewitt and Matt Damon had never met at that point (it is unclear whether they know each other know) and she read an interview of the actor in which he said because his schedule was so hectic, he didn’t even feel he had a bed anymore.
It’s always been said in the media that Hewitt is a very sweet person, and when she read that interview she felt sad because the Talented Mr. Ripley actor, although he’d made it big in Hollywood, didn’t feel like he had a solid foundation. So, Jennifer Love Hewitt’s Matt Damon present occurred to her: she found out where Damon was staying at the time and decided to send him a bed – an aero bed, for more detail!
Jennifer Love Hewitt’s Matt Damon venture caused a great deal of laughter among Jimmy Kimmel’s audience and Kimmel himself, a longtime friend of Matt Damon (his show is famous for a long-standing joke in which he frequently says “sorry Matt Damon, we ran out of time” at the end of the show, even cutting off Damon at times). Kimmel said that Damon hadn’t sent her a “thank you” note because he was a “creep” and had “no class.”
