David Beckham has gifted his wife a necklace that cost him USD38.8 million. In May 2017 it was rumoured that David was to buy Victoria the 250-acre island of Bird Cay, in the South Berry Islands of Nassau, Bahamas for their twentieth wedding anniversary, but representatives for the couple denied David was planning to spend USD11 million to make this purchase.
Kanye West to Kim Kardashian
Kanye has poured money into gifts for his wife Kim. These include gold Cartier bracelets to hand-painted Hermès bags. Having got engaged in 2013 with a 15-carat Lorraine Schwartz diamond ring, by 2016 Kanye replaced this with an even bigger ring. His gift to her at their wedding, was more unusual. Kanye bought ten Burger Kings in Italy, France, the United Kingdom to launch Kim as a successful businesswoman.

Richard Burton gifted a 68-carat diamond ring to Elizabeth Taylor. He wasn't marking any particular occasion, but paid USD1.1m for what became known as the Taylor-Burton diamond.
