McDonald's, The Cheesecake Factory, and Other Restaurants Share Their Favorite Recipes
The current health crisis that is COVID-19 led the world to pursue a new kind of normal. As an imminent threat to public health and safety, people are compelled to observe social distancing, practice wearing masks when in public, and stay at home most of the time.
It is most definitely challenging as it took a toll on the economy and the business of multiple companies. Among the repercussions of COVID-19 also include other people losing their jobs. And while it is considerably unsettling, there are numerous ways to battle the current pandemic, while keeping things on a light and positive note.
Since restaurants, hotels, and theme parks are among the institutions that had to temporarily close down as the number of COVID-19 cases ballooned in the last couple of months, some companies shared their well-loved recipes to the public. Restaurants such as McDonald's and The Cheesecake Factory spilled their beans to the public, inviting their regulars to recreate their menus at home.

While you can still order their cheesecake to go and for delivery, The Cheesecake Factory released in its website recipes of their dishes. Dishes such as almond-crusted salmon salad, breakfast tacos, blonde brownie cheesecake sundae, Chicken Bellagio can be recreated in your own homes. McDonald's world-famous breakfast, the Sausage and Egg McMuffin, is easy to make with only four ingredients. Just top your English muffins with sausage meat, some fried eggs, and American cheese, and you're good to go.
Ben & Jerry's
As exciting as eating raw cookie dough, Ben & Jerry's posted a YouTube video showing the ingredients needed for their edible cookie dough. To ensure the cookie dough is safe, make sure you heat the flour to 164°F before mixing in the different ingredients. A more detailed step-by-step recipe is also available on their website.
With the lockdown impositions, what used to be a magical and lively place filled with kids dressed up as heroes and princesses, turned to be a ghost town. And with that protocol, Disney released in their Disney Parks Blog the recipe for their famous churros. According to their Food & Beverages Communications Coordinator, the famous churros can be recreated in your own homes using just butter, water, salt, flour, cinnamon, eggs, sugar, and oil. With a chocolate dipping sauce on the side, your homemade churros can be shared with four people.
Disney Parks also published last April 11 a recipe of grilled cheese sandwiches from Woody's Lunch Box at Toy Story Land, in celebration of National Grilled Cheese Day. Try out different recipes, namely the cream cheese spread, garlic spread, and the grilled three-cheese.
Another favorite for those who go to Disney Parks is the Pineapple Dole Whip. The recipe in the My Disney Experience App only consisted of a scoop of vanilla ice cream, frozen pineapples, and pineapple juice.
If you're under quarantine, make most of your time at home by watching a movie while snacking on fries smothered with the signature cheese of New York burger joint, Shake Shack. Just make sure you have cheddar and American cheese and other ingredients to spice your fries.
