Previously on AHS Season 4 Freak Show, some of the bizarre cast of characters was introduced to us. There's Jessica Lange's ambitious Elsa, Sarah Paulson's conjoined twins Bette and Dot, Kathy Bates' bearded lady Ethel and Evan Peters' "Lobster Boy" Jimmy, among others. Then we saw the so-called "freaks" murdering the cop who tried to arrest Bette and Dot for the murder of their mother. However, apart from them, another freak is out in the open and is causing more brutal murders than one could imagine. In the end, Elsa tearfully revealed that she's a double amputee, who simply hired the conjoined twins to bring more attention to herself. Catch the all-new episode tonight. American Horror Story Season 4's main villain is John Carroll Lynch's Twisty the Clown, and based on the new spoilers he will only get creepier and creepier while his ulterior motive remains concealed. In an recent interview show creator Ryan Murphy said, "A lot of people are freaked out by this clown." He even added, "A couple people walked out on the premiere because they were too upset by the clown. I personally don't have that phobia but I understand that people do. This week, show fans can expect the introduction of more bizarre and strikingly weird characters. Michael Chiklis' strongman is joining the atrocities in the sideshows. Finn Wittrock's rich kid Dandy will also shed some depth on his character while his mother, played by Frances Conroy, will also showcase a not so pleasant side of her. "We talked about [my character being] a kid who's incredibly wealthy but emotionally stunted at a certain age, and we'll learn that there was some trauma in his youth - and also that there might be a bit of incest happening," Wittrock teased of his character. The official synopsis of American Horror Story season 4 episode 2 reads: "A citywide curfew threatens to shut down the Freak Show. A strongman from Ethel's troubled past arrives at camp.
