1. Kitcho, Kyoto Japan

The beautifully designed restaurant in Kyoto Japan is designed to serve the high end guests of Japan. The chef believes every food served I a work of art and costs per person run up to $600.

2. Restaurant Le Meurice, Paris

A costly menu never looked better than at Le Meurice. Alain Ducasse's collection menu costs $509 a person, before beverages, tax and of course the tip. The ambience was inspired by the Salon de la Paix located at the Chateau de Versailles.

3. Ithaa, Maldives

Located 5 meters below sea level, with a 180 degree view of the vibrant coral garden, the Ithlaa wraps up our top five. The cuisine prides itself of a European slant constructed into a six course menu accompanied with champagne. The six course serving costs $320 a person plus 10% service charge and an 8% tax per person.

4. Hotel De Ville, Crissier, Switzerland

This three Michelin star restaurant is run by husband and wife Benoit and Brigite Violier. It has a rich history of showcasing legendary chefs in the region. It has been in operation for more than 40 years. The chef's tasting experience will cost roughly $318 a person.

5. Michel Bras Toya, Toya, Japan

The hotel offers sweeping views of the volcanic lake Toya, with its perfect location at the coast of Hokkaido in Japan. The hotel specializes in creating unique foods from the local ingredients from Hokkaido. A meal at the restaurant can go for up to $287 a person.
