iOS 8.1: Apple Launched Newest Operating System with Apple Pay, iCloud Photo Library

iOS 8.1, Apple's newest OS update has finally arrived on Monday and ready for download to iPhone, iPod touch and iPad. The new software offers Apple Pay service along with other exciting new features.

Apple Pay is the newest service that enables latest owners of Apple devices to buy anything online and in store with just a touch of their finger on its Touch ID. Other features of the newest software release include the iCloud Photo Library, bug fixes, functionality for several Continuity features and the return of Camera Roll.

Unfortunately, not all can download iOS 8.1. Apple requires devices with Touch ID such as iPhone 5s, or higher or third generation iPad mini, or a new iPad Air 2 to enjoy these new features. Other new features can be use only if OS X Yosemite is installed. The Cupertino company brings more highlight to its functionality rather than its visual enhancement.

Apple users can easily toggle between iPhone, Mac and iPad or even use all these devices together with its continuity feature. It covers continuity to SMS from any device, Phone Calling, Instant Hotspot and Handoff.

Don't have internet connection? This time, you can connect easily on the web with Instant Hotspot. This iOS 8.1 feature enables Mac or iPad connect directly to iPhone's automatic personal hotspot if it is near. In an instant, the name of your iPhone device appears on the list of the Wi-Fi settings of your MAC or iPad.

Another enhanced feature to iOS 8.1 is its iCloud Photo Library where users can save their photos and videos in their iCloud account. You can access your account to any iCloud web site or iOS gadget. In the future, Apple is planning to sync iCloud Photo Library to Photo app for Macs so users can easily browse their photos and videos on computers.

iOS 8.1 takes away the hassle of Bluetooth pairing of Apple gadgets with other devices. The new version also brings back the Camera Roll which has been replaced in the recent iOS 8 update.
