"The Hunger Games - Mockingjay Part 1" lead star did it again, Jennifer Lawrence reviews for the movie "Mockingjay Part 1" were all positive remarks.
Lawrence is known for having good acting skills and her Oscar can prove it to the world. Lawrence showed her acting talents on her movies 2010s "Winter's Bone", 2012s "Silver Linings Playbook" and 2013s "American Hustle". The three movies showed situations caused by mental illness, poverty and corruption. Those movies are full of emotions and acting skills that screaming for Academy's attention.
Movies like "Hunger Games" are not made to get attention for the actor's acting skills because this kind of movie has lots of action and adventure and little bit of romance. However, 24 years old, Lawrence still managed to show her acting skills while doing action scenes. Lawrence only proves that she has an acting skill that can get anyone's respect whether her film is full of emotions or full of adventure and actions.
In the movie, "The Hunger Games - Mockingjay Part 1" Lawrence showed that she can handle skill that challenges her youth. The movie shows that Lawrence grows stronger as she grasps attention with her breath, words and phrase. She can turn every line into a patriotic anthem which other lesser actors cannot do. With Lawrence acting skills and passion, she elevates the movie far above the standard of its genre.
Aside from Lawrence, Philip Seymour Hoffman also did a masterful performance and Donald Sutherland who plays President Snow gave justice to his role.
"Mockingjay Part 1" Director Francis Lawrence who also directed "The Hunger Games: Catching Fire" still continues to give the viewers a movie that is both packed with action scenes and emotions. However, the movie face a problem that he, Lawrence or other cast cannot fix. The finale of "Hunger Games" had been split into two films and the second installment for the finale will be release probably next year which means that "Mockingjay Part 1" comes to a sudden end. Although movies like "Hunger Games" are made to make money, the idea of splitting the finale into two can lead to some fans' disappointment.
Out of four stars, the movie "The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1" got three stars.
