Ed Carpenter incident was violent during the pre-qualifying morning practice on Sunday at Indianapolis Motor Speedway.

Fortunately, the veteran IndyCar Series driver remained safe in his seat as the car rolled, tossed and turned over the road while sparks made the crash scarier.

Ed Carpenter No. 20 Chevrolet was out-of-control on Turn 2. It turned over after hitting the wall of SAFER Barrier.

Ed Carpenter incident comes as the third happening this week after Castroneves and Newgarden got off the ground on Wednesday and Thursday.
